Dr Neevika Manoharan is a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist/Oncologist and Subspecialist in Paediatric Neuro-Oncology. In 2019, Dr Manoharan returned to the Kids Cancer Centre after completing her Fellowship in Paediatric Neuro-Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. During her time working at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Children’s Hospital, she worked in Paediatric Neuro-Oncology as well as in Cancer Predisposition to further develop her skills in this area.
Dr Manoharan’s research interests are in implementation of novel therapeutics in early phase clinical trials and cancer predisposition/germline genomics. Dr Manoharan is currently leading development of an early phase combination clinical trial for paediatric patients with recurrent/relapsed primary brain tumours through the international consortium, CONNECT (Collaborative Network for Neuro-Oncology Clinical Trials). She is also contributing to the development of a national cancer predisposition study for patients and families affected by childhood cancer.
